A day in the life of a potter

A day in the life of a potter
Early mornings, dry hands, grasping for inspiration - the life of a successful potter can be tough, however, it can also be incredibly rewarding.
Danish ceramist, Kim Kennedy, combines the simplicity of Scandinavian design with a world of exquisite colours. Her ambition is to produce articles for everyday use that make a difference, attract positive attention and become a source of joy in our daily lives.
A potter's work is never done
Why only ever use a cup for drinking coffee or tea? Why not use it for flowers or pencils? Kim Kennedy's simple designs lend themselves perfectly to such multiple uses. Having created her own very personal style, the ceramist has a strong desire to see her various collections combined in all imaginable ways and also with other designs for the home. Therefore, it is on the perfect background of simple white faience that Kim’s hand-drawn decorations unfold in all their rich colour.
